When Scott Cohen arrived at this West Hills house in the San Fernando Valley, the swimming pool and outdoor kitchen hadn’t been touched since the 1970s. All that changed when he came up with a beautiful design and The Green Scene added a tile backrest, Baja shelf, fire pit, new wood arbors, and stamped concrete flooring. The planters were refreshed with low maintenance plants and topped with cast concrete. The new outdoor kitchen reflects the backyard’s casual upscale California style and includes a state of the art weatherproof sound system that connects to an iPhone or iPod.
