Shower Me In Wine

Homeowner Testimonial

5/5

We just wanted to take a few minutes and share our experience with working with Scott Cohen and The Green Scene.

For the past 4 to 5 years, my husband and I have been toying with the idea of moving. We have 4 boys, the youngest of whom is leaving for college this September. When we discussed moving with them, they revolted. They said that they wanted to come home to their house, not a strange new house. Once we realized that we were not moving, we remembered that we had seen The Green Scene on HGTV and decided to interview them to see what would be involved in building our dream backyard.

From our first meeting, we knew that we would be able to work with Scott and his amazing team of artisans. First we spent a couple of hours telling Scott our visions. Next, he and several of his experts came to our house to see what they had to work with, and within a week they submitted a rendering of our dream. It was unbelievable. All the elements we wanted were incorporated, and our backyard was transformed in picture as our dream come true.

The project took 9 months. The Green Scene staff was punctual, courteous, and professional. We were in constant communication with Scott and the foreman of the project. We were never left wondering what was next or surprised by a deviation to the original plans.

Scott is an artist in his own right, and his vision for how we could achieve what we wanted was always spot on and creative and beautiful. He listened to our requests even when perhaps his personal vision was a bit different, and we ended up with our dream backyard.

For this we say…thank you Scott and the whole Green Scene team for helping us turn our back yard into paradise.

Sincerely, Steve and Nina

Wow, what a backyard remodel this is. We transformed the Sheldon’s Northridge backyard by remodeling the pool and spa, putting in a new outdoor kitchen, a large pergola with a bathroom, stamped and stained concrete pathways, and an outdoor fireplace with a built-in all-weather SunBriteTV. The brick and tile look is preserved, but we put the living space to much better use in this large backyard. And the Pièce de résistance is the wine bottle shower with a wine barrel spout!
