“We had an excellent experience working with Scott Cohen and having Green Scene transform our backyard into our own private getaway spa and resort.

Scott initially spent a few sessions with us to explore what we wanted in our backyard, how we used it in the past for entertaining, what we thought was lacking, and how we anticipated using it in the future. We discussed various features we might want and then let Scott’s creative mind loose.

After a few modifications to the initial design and plans, we settled on a design we liked and moved forward.It’s amazing how the 3 dimensional rendering looked so much like the finished product. We knew from the start exactly what the yard would look like and how it was to be laid out.

All along the way, Scott continued to make suggestions and used his expertise in advising us on the best layout for the various features, such as setting up our outdoor kitchen with the proper work flow for barbecuing.

Scott is more than just a designer; he is truly an artist. It was fun to watch him during the construction of our hillside waterfall. He stood at the bottom and directed his crew as to where to place various sized rocks. The waterfall is spectacular and one of our favorite features.

Scott also suggested a deep well and full body massage for our spa, which is a feature not to pass up. Using it is like having your own personal masseuse waiting for you in your yard.

The Green Scene crews were always polite, courteous, and professional, and they do great work. The crew members take pride in what they are doing and really seem to enjoy seeing the project evolve, or as one put it, “go from a mud hole to a beautifully finished outdoor space”.

We are extremely happy with our backyard paradise, enjoy sharing it with family and friends, and would certainly recommend Scott and The Green Scene to anyone contemplating a backyard remodel.
