Homeowner Testimonial

5/5

Scott Cohen designed the most amazing yard for our new home (built in 1958- new to us). He brought together the architecture of the house with all the items we needed and wanted for our yard- a spacious pool, an amazing outdoor kitchen, and a sitting area with a fire pit, overlooking the San Fernando Valley.

Although he didn’t provide the entire view, the trees and plantings that he chose will finish our yard perfectly. We couldn’t be happier. And, as difficult as I have been at times,he didn’t even get angry at me once! His patience and talent and his crew of hard-working dedicated employees makes The Green Scene a tough company to beat.

This Encino home with a view had an older freeform pool with no spa, and landscaping that had been long neglected.

Scott Cohen and The Green Scene redesigned the pool using modern lines, adding a Baja shelf and spa overlooking the San Fernando Valley. A splash deck sprays water out of the decking, providing extra fun for kids and adults alike.

Raised planters hold sheer descent waterfalls on the side facing the house. A sunken fire pit adjacent to the spa offers a perfect nighttime spot for reflection and visiting with friends and family. Closer to the house, the placement of a beautiful new outdoor kitchen also takes advantage of the views.

The outdoor kitchen includes our first built-in Big Green Egg grill.
