Hillside Hydrotherapy

“We just wanted to take a few minutes and share our experience working with Scott Cohen and The Green Scene.

Our yard is a large down slope and we were having trouble finding a designer/contractor that could help us figure out how to use the hillsides. We ended up firing the first company we hired because their ideas were boring and they did not seem to be listening to our needs. We have a large family and like to entertain a lot, so we need lots of patio space. Then we saw a TV special featuring Green Scene and Scott Cohen’s work and decided to schedule a consultation.

From our first meeting, we knew that we would be able to work with Scott and his team of artisans. First we spend a couple of hours telling Scott our visions. Next, he and several of his experts came to our house to see what they had to work with, and within a couple of weeks they submitted a three-dimensional rendering of our dream. It  was unbelievable! All the elements we wanted were incorporated, and our backyard was transformed in picture as our dream come true.

The project took over 18 months to build. Challenes with soils geology, engineering, permits and inspections made this a very complex project to manage. The Green Scene staff was punctual, courteous, and professional. We were in constant communication with Scott via weekly pre-scheduled meetings. Although it seemed to take forever to implement, the end result is terrific!

Scott is an artist in his own right, and his visions for how we could achiebe what we wanted was always spot on and creative and beautiful.

The most exciting part is that now our own home became one that will now be featured on HGTV’s “Cool Pools.” We have come full circle from seeing him on TV to being with him on TV. We couldn’t be more proud of our home.
