We wanted to write this letter to express our family’s gratitude for the incredible job that The Green Scene has done to change our property into a fantastic resort. We moved into our home in August 2009. The home, as you remember, has an incredible view, but the backyard landscaping was, simply put, horrible. The backyard’s contour was the shape of a dome with a small lap pool, and an above ground spa. There was essentially no usable yard. We knew we needed to redo the yard, but didn’t know what we should do. We had several companies give us different presentations.
Finally, Laura watched a show on HGTV called, “Get Out, Way Out!”, and loved the work of one of the designers, Scott Cohen. We met with Scott and immediately knew that his ideas and passion for creating a resort backyard was what we wanted. Little did we know that, when completed, our project we would be so far beyond anything we ever could have imagined. It is a masterpiece.
From the outset, Scott’s attention to detail and the sense of how the property should flow was impeccable. We ended up deciding on an infinity edge pool, a spa, a pavilion with a fireplace, 2 separate barbecue areas, 2 fire bowls, a fire pit, a putting green, a play area, and a balcony. With so many items, you might think that things might feel busy or crowded. Just the opposite; the project feels comfortable, serene and perfect. It is marvelous and breathtaking.
The Green Scene’s crew is professional, respectful, cordial, and do great work. Our project was a big one, but they kept moving forward trying to keep the delays to a minimum. The end result made having the yard looking like a construction site all the worthwhile.
If you want to change your property into something special, something that will stir your emotions, then look no further than Scott Cohen and The Green Scene Landscaping and Pools. They can create what your mind can only imagine.
To Scott and the whole The Green Scene gang, thanks for creating our own personal paradise. Who needs to go on vacation when you already have a resort at home?
With all our gratitude,
The Kiker Family
